Creating A Task
Tasks allow you to follow up with other things associated with a deal.
1. To create tasks, visit the CRM tab and click Task found on the customer's card.
- Start typing in the task details that you would like to accomplish.
- Select the date that you would like to accomplish the task.
- When you are finished typing, then click Save.
2. To view an existing task, go to CRM and click the Tasks tab.
- You will see all tasks here and can filter them using the top menu bar settings.
- When you have completed a task, click the check mark on the left-hand side. This triggers a popup for you to set the next task or contact date.
- This cycle will continue until you change the lead to closed.
3. To log your next contact date, click Contact from the dropdown.
- Select the next integration date.
- Note: if you have hot potato turned on, you will need to make sure that you are following up with your customers at the specified time. This will prevent your lead from going to the next salesperson.
